That’s good news for the Michigan Multimedia Jobs Act, but we don’t have to hold our breath while we wait for a vote. Come out for a night of fun and fundraising Wednesday, Sept. 25, starting at 6 p.m. We’re celebrating the opening of a new sound stage in Milan — Hollywood Farmstead — and spreading the word about the MJA. What: Michigan Film Industry Association Fundraiser and Content Creator Party Where: HOLLYWOOD FARMSTEAD - FILM STUDIO with a newly finished 100+ foot Cyc Wall Address:13455 Petersburg Rd Milan, MI 48160United States Time: 6pm-11pm (All Ages Welcome). About: Hollywood Farmstead is a brand new state of the art filming studio with breathtaking bonus land available for filming around the grounds of the studio. The 50+ acre farmstead includes a creek, woods, horses and more. The Party: There will be a specified donation for entry. All the proceeds will go to help MIFIA and their efforts to get the Film act passed. There will be appetizers, drinks and tours of the facility. The main area of the event will be the lavish new customized barn with the gigantic Cyc Wall. We are excited to unveil this amazing studio to the Film community of Michigan.
