What an honor to get a piece of ‘s time for this week’s episode. Asante is a powerful leader, communicator, and advocate for justice. He has recently been using his voice in the city of Atlanta to organize change as it relates to the racial injustice to the black community.

Asante speaks about being educated on these issues as well as changing the narrative that has for so long been spoken over the black community.

Thank you to our friend Ben Riggs who came on this week to share about his experience with the concept of justice. Ben speaks of how his view of justice was forever changed years ago when he was given the opportunity to see injustice play out in front of his own eyes while serving as a staff member in Cancun Mexico with Back2Back Ministries. Ben speaks about lamenting injustice, recognizing and repenting of our contribution to that injustice, and asking compelling questions that cause us to be people who pursue justice in a meaningful way. Ben’s words are full of humility and grace.

While Josh & Ben focus on the concept of justice as a whole, they were sure to tie all of this back to our current context with the racial injustice that the back community of our country is experiencing and has been experiencing.

Big thanks to our friend Kyle Gunn for coming on this week to have transparent, informative, and hopeful conversation around the injustice that has been present for generations in the black community of this nation. Kyle shares his own experiences with this issue all while giving a clear picture of the God of justice that we see all throughout the Scriptures. God is passionate about justice, and so we should be as well. Thank you Kyle for inviting us into a conversation that many of us should have been involved in long ago.

Kyle has also provided resources on how to educate yourself on this centuries long story. God has not been absent from this story, and so we urge you to not be absent any longer either.

Be sure to check this episode out as it is very relevant and poignant. This is not the last conversation we will have about this topic. We plan to have more voices on to shine light on something that must continue to be exposed.

We are dedicated to being a platform that gives a voice to those who have something to share, and that first involves being willing to hear the story. We are listening, and we want the story to continue to be told. We will be a place that helps the story of this past and present injustice be told in order to produce change.
