FUN (Real Life) FACTS:

This is a HUGE milestone year for my daughter and I. 🙌

It’s a birthday that I almost didn't get to share with her, after experiencing a series of the health issues that I was challenged with, back in 2020. (including a heart-attack, Covid-19 for a 2nd time, along with a major 6 1/2 hr surgery - all within a 1yr span)🤦🏽‍♀️

I am immensely grateful to God for covering me 4 xtra times in 2020 and for blessing me with the GIFT 🎁 OF LIFE, RESTORED HEALTH, MY SANITY & INNER PEACE - the opportunity to spin the block once again, so I can celebrate my 49th birthday, my son's 33rd birthday and my daughter's 31st birthday.

Technically, my kids and I grew up together. See, I was single teenaged mother for the 2nd time and my daughter has been my constant for the last 30, now 31 years, by the Grace of God.🙌

This young lady effortlessly has "responsibly cared" for me at my lowest (physically, financially & emotionally...) BETTER than ANY MAN I've ever been with.

She has kept me grounded, prayed up, drama free 🧏🏽‍♀️ and I say that with all sincerity.

And although I've never been a selfish person, my kids have taught me how to genuinely love someone unconditionally; as well as what it truly means to put someone else’s needs before my own.

My daughter has definitely been the center of my 🧡. We've had an unbreakable bond before she was even born, because I would talk to her, read to her and sing to her - all while she was in my womb. It’s a soul tie that one may not understand, until you've carried an Angel in your womb. 😇

After 3-hrs of Labor, I gave birth (7 months into my pregnancy) to a real-life Angelic Premie, weighing in at 6 lbs 2 oz, and came into the world shouting like she was in a church choir. 🤭

Once God graced this earth with her perfect presence, she stole my whole heart ❤️ and we’ve been riding strong - through the good, the bad & the pretty ugly ever since.🧏🏽‍♀️

🙋🏽‍♀️I remember that day as if it were yesterday, and if I had to do it all over again... I absolutely would
(unapologetically) again and again and again.🙆🏽‍♀️

My daughter is a gorgeous, intelligent, caring, passionate, tenacious, resilient, talented, genuine, compassionate, loving, vibrant God-fearing young lady and there’s absolutely nothing in this world that I wouldn’t do for her.🧏🏽‍♀️
She is and will always be my world 🌎

One mistake I made in raising my 1st born son, was overcompensating for the absent parent.🤦🏽‍♀️

The day that I gave birth to , I vowed to stop trying to show-up as 2 parents and only focus on being the best version of the person and parent that I already am.

I learned very early on throughout this parental journey that if I didn't stop trying to be both mother & father... it would cripple her growth and create a tendency of selfishness and entitlement - so I'm glad I followed my intuition.

She is a respectful, responsible, resilient, talented and independent millennial and productive business owner, who is truly blessed by God with numerous talents.🧏🏽‍♀️

She has the gift to master anything that's placed before her (literally) and I couldn’t be more proud, as her mom.🙆🏽‍♀️

Me becoming her mother was one of the most rewarding blessings I’ve ever had. I couldn’t ask God for ANYTHING MORE in a daughter...
she's perfectly, imperfect! 🙌🏽❤🙏

I am so grateful to have reached this milestone year with her, as this was but a dream that I've always wanted for my mother and I.🙌

Maria, I wish you an amazing 31st birthday, filled with God's Peace, Love Great Health, His Grace, Mercy and Prosperity in everything that you are and do!!!🦋

I pray for you to have nothing less than what GOD HAS FOR YOU.😘

I'll unapologetically love you forever and ever!!!💛

One thing about GOD, He does not play about His children!!!
I have been completely whole and I've also felt completely broken.
IN BOTH SEASONS... GOD HAS SHOWN HIMSELF FAITHFUL!!!
☝I needed to be broke, so that I could learn to budget!
☝I needed to be treated badly, so that I could appreciate being treated great!
☝I needed to have jobs that I hated, so that I can work hard to do what I love.
☝I had to stray from God, so I could understand that there's NOTHING & NOONE better.
☝Nothing about ME is self-made... I AM GOD MADE!
I OWE EVERYTHING TO GOD!!! 🙌
