5 HR Predictions That Played Out (and 3 That Didn’t)
Pretty good set of predictions from AIHR Academy to Innovate HR, though out in the field we knew metaverse was a bust for the use case. That doesn't mean that an opportunity to increase connectivity and gamify readiness does not exist.
What we predict for 2024:
1. Greater focus on Asynchronous Work.
2. Organizations will re-evaluate team makeup, augmenting key team members with agency and gig work elements.
3. DEI becomes fragmented, with pratitioners having to do more with less budget.
4. Demand for administrative HR roles drops precipitously.
5. AI prompting and automation competency becomes a top demanded People Ops skill.
