MY HUSBAND WENT ON VACATION INSTEAD OF HELPING ME WITH MY MOM'S FUNERAL – HIS BLOOD FROZE WHEN HE RETURNED.

My mom passed away unexpectedly and I was so devastated. We had a funeral to plan, family to contact—there was so much to do. So, I mentioned to my husband John that we'd need to cancel our upcoming vacation to Hawaii because of the funeral.

That's when it happened. John leaned against the counter, arms crossed, and without even a shred of empathy in his voice, he said, "How come I have to cancel my vacation because of your mom's funeral? You'll cope well enough with everything YOURSELF. I don't want to lose the money. At least I will be able to take my mind off things."

My heart sank. I tried to explain that I needed him there, not just for the funeral but for support. His response? A shrug. Then he grabbed his suitcase and started to pack, like it was no big deal.

MY DIL SHAMED ME FOR POSTING A PICTURE OF MY "WRINKLED BODY" IN A SWIMSUIT — I GAVE HER A WAKE-UP CALL.

A week ago, my husband and I, both in our 60s, returned from our long-awaited vacation. It was the first time it had been just the two of us since we became grandparents.

Oh, the vacation reaffirmed our love for each other. Each day, we woke up at 7 a.m., instead of at 5, ate plenty of seafood, and took long beach walks. Once, we stopped for a moment and kissed. A girl ran up to us and showed us a pic she had taken of US. Oh boy, I even shed a tear.

When we returned, I posted it on my Facebook. To my shock, my DIL wrote this comment:

For 23 years, Nancy, now 61, never missed a single day on this date. She baked her late son's favorite pie and took it to his grave every year since.

The pie, a simple yet delicious apple and cinnamon creation, had been Henry's favorite since childhood... It was his favorite dessert, and baking it had become a tradition they both cherished.

Rhea felt out of place the moment she stepped onto the plane. She had managed to get a seat in business class, and as she settled in, she could feel the judgmental stares from the well-dressed passengers around her. She adjusted her coat and tried to focus on the journey ahead.

"How can someone like her afford this? HAS THIS AIRLINE REALLY SUNK SO LOW!?" a wealthy man sitting nearby scoffed, pointing in her direction as if she didn't belong.

The flight attendant looked uncomfortable but remained professional. After checking Rhea's ticket, she turned to the man and calmly said, "This passenger took a seat according to the ticket she paid for."

Before continuing, he unfolded a pristine handkerchief and covered his nose with it. "I bought a seat in business class to get away from... PEOPLE LIKE HER! Now, it feels like I'm in a cheap alley with homeless people."

I CAME HOME TO A DESTROYED BATHROOM DOOR – WHEN I FOUND OUT WHAT HAPPENED, I FILED FOR DIVORCE

I was away for just two days, but it was enough time for my husband and our daughter to end up with a destroyed bathroom door.

When I got home, neither of them would tell me what happened. All I saw were pieces of wood scattered on the floor, a visibly stressed husband, and an awkward daughter who wouldn’t meet my eyes. Exhausted from the trip, I decided to talk to my husband in private the next day, assuming my daughter must’ve locked herself in.

Before bed, I took out the trash (of course, my husband had let it pile up) and ran into our next-door neighbor.
