This is not a Pothos nor a pathos, it's an Epipremnum aeurum π±
Edit:
Epipremnum aureum, was formerly classified as Pothos before they discovered it could flower, hence why people (mostly in America) still call it a pothos. However, it was later (in 1962) moved to a different genus through taxonomic revisions.
So referring to an epipremnum aureum as a pothos is just like calling a Monstera deliciosa a Philodendron.
Both plants belong to the Araceae family, but they are distinct species with different characteristics and scientific classifications.
Avoiding the use of "Pothos" for Epipremnum aureum or E. Aeurum could prevent confusion with other plants and ensure accurate identification, as Pothos actually belongs to a different plant genus. They are NOT the same plant.
I'm not saying you should stop calling it a pothos, I'm just saying it's technically inaccurate although commonly accepted, call it what you want. This was just meant as an educational postπ±π
