We pay tribute to journalist Alice Allison Dunnigan. Even though she was a highly regarded member of the press, she still encountered racism and racial injustices within the predominantly white realm of Washington politics. Her determination and professionalism in confronting these obstacles make her an admirable role model for aspiring young journalists today. #BlackHistoryMonth #journalism
January marks National Mentoring Month, and yesterday, our chapter president, Calvin Hughes, and former president and member, Russell Motley, signed a MOU with Gale Nelson, the President of Big Brothers and Sisters of Miami.
