There was an Indian family fishing at Lake McLlwaine in 1978-9 and a lone black terrorist shot at them behind their backs and killed the teenager who fell into the lake. The other son was hit in the arm. The RLI hunted the killer down and shot him. Does anyone know who this family was - their names? They need to be remembered.

We have just finished scanning a well-worn copy of the November 12, 1965 Chronicle newspaper. This will be added to our online library/archive shortly. We have uploaded over 1000 documents, magazines and other items to our library located at https://rhodesians-worldwide.com/library/ but we need your help. As this archive grows it costs us more to keep it online and we would like to continue to grow as there are at least another 2000 documents waiting for us to upload them. Remove the current sanctions against Zimbabwe laying a wreath at the Cenotaph on Remembrance day. Allow a representative either an official, or a relative of one of those who died, from Zimbabwe to Lay a Wreath at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day

Over 34,000 young men from southern Rhodesia – both black and white – served in the world wars with an estimated 1,800 losing their lives. It is disrespectful to those who died, and their families, that they are not represented at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day because of politics.
