☆☆☆Applying Pressure ☆☆☆

When the ground shakes, it doesn't just shake one rock, it shakes all of them. What do you do when life shakes things up?!

I may get banged up, pent up,  picked up, put down. I may even occassionally bump into other rocks along my journey, for better or worse- generally for the better. It's all apart of the process.

But still, I perform and aim to be transformed into the DIAMOND that has always been inside me!

I maintain my essence like a chocolate diamond 💎🤎 I am true to myself, operate with integrity, treasure my space,  but pop out every now and then to "SHOW UP" in all my essence and glory. That's it!

That's how things should be, as unique and rare as you and me.

Great work/humility deserves to be shared!

I came across this story of a Donation-only restaurant feeding the community!
Much more than feeding, they are bringing people of all walks of life together, creating unity and ability of humans to socialize face to face, and work together in the positive upbuilding in a community, and to all that this messages reaches.

I've always been a person who wanted to "fix" the world, making it a better place.
As a young person, I worked hard, hoping I could get to a position where I could live out my dreams of making a great impact on the world. But!..
I realized that we can't do it all alone. There's just too many initiatives that need to be done in this earth. BUT! WE CAN make a difference in our local communities and anywhere that we go! We CAN share and pray 🙏🏽 WE can donate, WE can support!

There's positive initiatives out there, in all the areas that we care about, and all we have to do is support them.

Hi everyone,

I'm honored to announce that I was selected to be featured in the magazine "Shoutout Arizona."

This article focuses on what success means to us and moreso in paying homage/giving a shoutout to the individuals that played a part in our success/in moving along our journey in life.

For those of us, who don't have a constant visible team of people that help support us, I think it's important to identify and appreciate those mentors that we do have along the way, whether they are brief encounters or build into deeper experiences.

While chasing your dreams, you're going to feel alone, some people experience this more than others (and it can make people resentful). However, it's important to focus less on those who aren't rooting for you, and remember those who invested their time into you, whether that's a teacher/ professor, a spiritual leader, a friend, a relative, a parent, a community leader, an ancestor who fought to make sure your life today was better than theirs; we all have someone to be grateful towards. 🙏🏽

Just remember as you work to manifest your dream, it's YOUR dream. No one owes you anything. Everyone you come in contact with that supports you in some shape/form is a BONUS and we must be grateful for that!

So if you needed a message to keep going, this is it!!! Sometimes we need to know we have more people rooting for us, than those who aren't. (Even if you don't get to see them rooting for you).

Q. What advice do you have for the next generation of entrepreneurs?
A. Never give up! You are powerful and please understand that great things come with a struggle and don’t happen overnight. We have all been there and that’s okay. It’s our fortitude that really speaks to people at the end of the day. Lastly, whatever you do, be yourself and search for the Truth.

Q. What does being “Pretty and Black Owned” mean to you?
A. Being Pretty and Black Owned to me means rising from the ashes and being in charge of yourself. No one is perfect and no one’s life will ever go perfectly. As Black people, our Culture has especially endured some unfortunate and devastating experiences. This does not define us, but instead, what’s inside of us does. Pull that beauty and creativity out for not only yourself but to uplift others. Invest in yourself and in the communities worldwide. You are indeed powerful and you matter. You owe it to yourself and our ancestors to keep going! We are all connected to something Bigger! Something Spiritual! Something Real Pretty!
