The familiar nodded reluctantly in agreement, stretching out on Jack’s lap, not a care in the world, despite the violent maelstrom outside. “I’ve heard the Silver Bullet is the perfect shot of refresh. . .” The dome shook from a massive blow, a tiny crack forming in the walls, completely ruining Jack’s attempt at product placement and utterly ruining the moment.

One of my favorite things I've ever done was issue a comedy bounty to my kids worth $50.

The stipulation was that she had to say it naturally and the difficulty was that their mother knew about the bounty

If she were ever to "bust in" to a room and ask "What's that noise?", the one who would quickly come in and state "Mom you're just jealous it's the Beastie Boys" would claim the cash.

After almost a year, I didn't realize what was going on and my oldest came running across the house from his room to which I realized she had just asked my youngest that very exact question.

With a grin on his face, he said the line, and I paid him the money.
