Sun outage season will occur in late-February to early-March 2024.

The sun outage event occurs twice per year during the spring and fall equinox. The sun aligns directly behind the satellite in reference to your downlink antenna, creating a brief outage by overwhelming the satellite signal with the tremendous amount of radio frequency (RF) noise generated by the sun. This phenomenon is predictable and will take place roughly at the times noted below:

Monday Feb 26th, 2024 - Friday March 1st, 2024

During this time-period, satellite programming (Dan Bongino, Glenn Beck, etc.) may be unavailable. Thank you for understanding during this time.

After further review and taking into account the state’s lifting of restrictions on outdoor events, we are excited to announce that your Atwater 4th of July Parade is on! The Independence Eve celebration at Ralston Park on the evening of July 3rd, the Run for Independence running event on the morning of July 4th, the downtown parade and festival at Ralston Park, and the concert/fireworks show at Castle in the evening on July 4th are all on!
