Happy Halloween!

Can't wait to hear these. They kind of sound like a CD I just got called "Wolfman Jack's Halloween Special - Scary Sounds." The only thing with that is there is the sound of a heartbeat through the whole 40 minute plus CD. After about the 30th minute I had to turn it off. It was getting on my nerves...

Hey all - we've been putting the pieces back together over here at Goner HQ all month and now want to issue a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it such a success this year. Our staff, volunteers, stream team, sponsors, our partners at Railgarten, the amazing bands and most of all the attendees - thanks for coming! The festival keeps its cool because the fans are great. We know it's not easy to travel and we really do appreciate you choosing Goner and Memphis for your rock n roll vacation time. This year we hosted Gonerfesters from 38 different states and 7 different countries -- and more fans than ever from Memphis! Wow! It takes us all to make this thing work - so thank you!

A few special shout outs: Our art director Sara Moseley who took Eric C’s great artwork and turned it into two amazing stage installations, stream graphics, merch, posters, banners, etc. Along with coordinating photographers and press folks, she’s the reason that gonerfest looks good. The stream was also unreal this year - thanks to co-directors Brent Shrewsbury and Alec McIntyre along with a huge crew of talented folks. Also thanks to Corina for organizing the stream crew volunteers. Andrew McCalla along with Edan Wilber and Dustin Reynolds made everything sound so good. Dane Perugini and Billups Allen held down the shop so we could all keep the festival going. Cole put together a great group of volunteers and managed band relations. Aly Gomaa managed box office and merch. Dan Holloway dealt with booking agents so we didn't have to. And a big thanks to Jeremy Malone for working some magic to secure that massive tent the week of the fest.
