Today was highly successful and rewarding. I had the privilege of setting up a booth at my church's Holiday Bazaar, which saw an excellent turnout. I was honored to showcase "Mommy, Am I Dumb? A Mother's Dedication and Commitment to Her Son," resulting in the sale of 15 books and the acquisition of a new client. Additionally, I will be editing my new client's manuscript. Overall, it was a very productive day

I was asked today, "What does writing mean to me, and what does it do for me?" When I write, I am transported to another universe. My mind and thoughts become deeply intertwined with the subject matter, while visually, I become completely absorbed in crafting characters with rich, detailed scenery. Every moment, something magical flows into my mind, allowing me to create visionary elements and seamlessly weave them into the narrative.

Creating characters is an exhilarating process where I develop their appearance, style, and personality, laying the groundwork for who each character truly is and providing a glimpse into their background. The story takes root in my mind, and its essence penetrates my very being, driving me to continue creating and exploring.

Writing is not just an act; it is a profound journey that consumes me, fills me with passion, and allows me to bring entire worlds to life.

**Question to my fellow writers:**

Have you ever woken up in the early hours of the morning with a brilliant idea—whether it’s a book title, character names, or a storyline? For me, the answer is a resounding yes! I’ve discovered that my most creative and forward-thinking thoughts often come to me during these quiet moments.

In the past, I would wake up with these ideas vividly in my mind, only to have them fade away by the time I fell back asleep. Hours later, it felt as if those thoughts had completely vanished from the recesses of my mind.

To ensure that my great ideas don't go unused, I now keep a journal by my bedside. While I could use my phone to track my notes, I prefer the old-fashioned way of jotting things down on paper. There's something uniquely satisfying about writing with pen and paper, capturing those fleeting thoughts before they disappear.

The moral of the story is always be prepared to capture your thoughts.

As morning approaches and I am blessed to see another day, I sit in a space of peace and joy. Once living in a grey area of confusion and chaos, I learned to grab a hold to my thoughts and channel them in a different direction. You may ask what direction might that be? Well, the direction to move to a different path starts each day with morning mediation. This is where I center myself and cast out distractions that cause me to go into disarray. I control my thoughts with my breathing patterns and picture myself sitting on the beach facing the rising sunlight while listening to the ocean waves. Next, I pray and thank God for allowing me to see another day. As I continue with my prayers I am immersed with inner peace and clarity.
