Founded by super-producer Matt White and the ridiculously handsome entrepreneur Mike Burris, Fairchild Records has a vision for discovering and producing untapped Memphis talent. Over time, Fairchild has added more players to the power team, each contributing their un
ique talents to the operation. Kevin Carpenter (resident engineer at Ardent Studios) joined the team in 2012, bringing with him years of extraordinary recording expertise, revolutionary production skills, and the invaluable addition of metro-sexual hairstyles to our staff photos. And lastly, but not leastly, the artist and conceptual mastermind Jacob Platania, whose artistic design skills and spray-paint covered converse have been essential to the Fairchild face and brand. With high standards for creating undeniable quality over quantity, Fairchild Records is here to show Memphis that Indie labels can play just as hard as the majors; and look way cooler doing it.
