Three swiftwater technicians from Millington Fire and three from Collierville Fire let this morning enroute to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Madison County Fire, TN deployed a team to New Mexico also. West Tennessee is representing our state in providing needed water rescue operations in New Mexico.

Ready to patrol..

Introducing Jackson Fire’s newest unit, “Forked-Deer 1”. The versatile marine unit will soon begin patrolling the Forked Deer river between S Highland and Riverside Dr looking for signs of Big Foot crossings. Our concerns are not so much the adult Big Foot but the Little Big Footers may have issues navigating the murky 4 feet deep waters. Anyone with information about potential Big Little Feet crossing dangers should contact “Forked Deer 1” Captain Itsay Joak.

Gibson County E-911 mourns the loss of our retired Director, Robert W "Bob" Moore. Bob passed away at his home surrounded by family on February 21, 2024.
Bob began his love for radios and communications at a young age. When CB radios first came out, he had one of the best systems in this area. In 1968, Bob, along with his parents, Jack and Lib Moore, began Gibson County Central Control (known as Moore Communications) in a back room of their home.
With growth and progress, Central Control moved to it's 2nd and now 3rd location operating as Gibson County E-911. Bob became Director upon the retirement of his parents from the company in 1990.
Bob shared his family's passion for helping others in need. He gave of himself tirelessly to ensure that Gibson County E-911 was one of the best of the best.
Although he retired from his life long job of dispatching in March of 2018, Bob was always listening to us on his scanner...always keeping up with what was going on in the town and county he loved and served so unselfishly.
RIP Bob...we'll take it from here.💛💛💛
