Hit and Run Arrest Made

Media Release from HCPD On June 21, 2017 at approximately 6:30pm, Henry County Police arrested, Robert Huynh, 19-year-old- male at his residence in McDonough. Huynh was arrested without incident and charged with the hit and run of a pedestrian, Tasia Marie Gartner. Charges: Hit and Run Resulting in serious injury or death Failure to report accident Homicide by Vehicle in the 1st Degree. Traffic Investigators are still trying to locate Huynh’s vehicle. Information received from witnesses stated that Huynh might have taken the vehicle for repair somewhere in Clayton County. We are asking repair shops to please report to the police if they have a silver in color 2007 Honda Fit, with Georgia License plate PLY 7259. As mentioned, the vehicle should have heavy front end damage to the, grill, hood and possibly top of the vehicle. Anyone with information please contact the Henry County Police Department.
