Camp Snoopy - Coming 2024

Kings Island announced Thursday 8/10 that it will expand its kids’ area by constructing a new adventure play space, Camp Snoopy.

“Camp Snoopy is just what families visiting Kings Island have been looking for,” said Mike Koontz, vice president and general manager of Kings Island. “We’ve designed this new immersive area to feel like a day at camp where families can spend time with each other in a variety of ways, from the thrill of a new coaster to exploring and relaxing in the great outdoors with their favorite Peanuts characters.”

The kids’ area will also be home to the park’s 16th roller coaster called Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers, according to a release from Kings Island.

Colors are changing! 🚨 🔥 🚨

One of our most popular rides, Diamondback, is being repainted this winter. The color scheme is changing slightly on the 5,282-foot long steel roller coaster. The track is being painted crimson red while the support columns are going from yellow and tan to mushroom brown.

Goodbye for this year!!

A car from The Beast roller coaster is on its way to the wood coaster maintenance shop where it will be stripped down to every last nut and bolt. Everything is disassembled, looked at and rebuilt during the winter on each of the cars that comprise the three trains on the world’s longest wooden roller coaster.
