The Marshall Mountain Wave is starting a weekly column called Memories and Meals. Our reporter, Victoria Kroeker, started it last week with her own memories of her grandmother and her shared recipes. If you would like to, please comment below your family recipes with a memory attached to it to be featured in the upcoming issues of Memories and Meals! Thank You.

Attention:

To all the faithful readers of the Marshall Mountain Wave newspaper, December 31 will be my last day at the Marshall Mountain Wave newspaper. On January 21, I will begin the LPN program at Ozarka College in Melbourne. It breaks my heart to leave, but I'm ready for this great opportunity to help my community in a different way. I'm excited to start the program. I have complete faith in my replacement, Victoria Kroeker. No, I am not being fired. I made the decision to resign. I've been here for 8 years and have enjoyed every minute. Thank you for everything.

Sincerely,
Charity Rolen
Editor (for now)
