This week's issue of the Marshall Mountain Wave will feature an editorial stating that the Searcy County Historical Society will have a meeting this Friday Jan 24, 2025. The Marshall Mountain Wave is starting a weekly column called Memories and Meals. Our reporter, Victoria Kroeker, started it last week with her own memories of her grandmother and her shared recipes. Attention:

To all the faithful readers of the Marshall Mountain Wave newspaper, December 31 will be my last day at the Marshall Mountain Wave newspaper. On January 21, I will begin the LPN program at Ozarka College in Melbourne. It breaks my heart to leave, but I'm ready for this great opportunity to help my community in a different way. I'm excited to start the program. I have complete faith in my replacement, Victoria Kroeker. No, I am not being fired. I made the decision to resign. I've been here for 8 years and have enjoyed every minute. Thank you for everything.
