Went north ⬆️ and got on solid 12”-14” ice🧊 with amazing action this morning. Pulled out 8”-10” Bluegills 🐠 and 10ish” Crappies 🐟 to fill a 2 man limit in under 3 hours! These fish sure were hungry, and the snow ❄️ definitely didn’t slow them down!

Please be kind to opossums. Many of them find a cozy place to combat the cold. So many we see are missing parts of tails, ears and toes due to previous frost bite-- and your garage or porch may be the only place they have. Opossums won’t hurt anything-- I promise-- and shooing them out may be certain death due to lack of shelter. They are Northern America’s ONLY marsupial. And these precious souls eat fleas, ticks and other pests.
Please. This Winter. Be kind. Be the change you wish to see in the world.

As we close out the 2024 year, and begin looking ahead of 2025. I just sit and reflect on what this year has brought to me and how much I’ve accomplished.

I’d like for everyone to drop a Picture of their most memorable, favorite, heart stopping, forever favorite, moment from 2024, and give a brief description of it!

I’ll go first, and there’s a couple that I could pick from. But, I’ll like to highlight this one: Back in May, fishing a local Walleye Tournament on Green Bay; we were having a tough bite, with only catching 6 fish all day. It was the last 10 minutes of the tournament, I took a seat on the bow, and just played around with casting, and at 2:55 the line went tight and the my heart started rushing not knowing how big the fish was going to be. Get the fish to the boat, get it entered at 27.50” which put us in 5th place for the tournament!
