Story time: It’s been two years since I launched my travel blog and over one year that I no longer teach or offer SEO. Pivoting to the travel industry has been a beautiful experience. It is also challenging to pivot after the age of 40 but this is what I am meant to do. When you find your flow, your groove and all of your experiences align for you to be even better in your zone of genius. You need to follow your gut! As someone who has been working with and teaching social media marketing for the last 10 years, I have made many mistakes but know the importance of avoiding social media burnout. Here are my top lessons.
1. Turning off notifications. I don't have a single social media account where my notifications are on.
2. Matering 1-2 main platforms max will help you feel like you actually have a life.
3. Using my Social Media Success Formula, which is a) find where my clients hang out online b) do I enjoy that platform? If I don't, I am not using it. For example, I could get so many clients from Linkedin, but I can't get into it.
4. Taking pauses and breaks is key, it will all be there when coming back.
5. Setting up a strategy for automation so it works for me is key
6. Oh the fomo game! toss that out the window and as Britney recently reminded me of, stop peeping in other people's lane. So good.
7. Remember what you see of others online could be on their chapter 27 and you are on your chapter 7.
8. Limit the amount of time you spend on social media each day. Even if you have to use one of those tools that will lock you out for you.
9. Have a social media-free weekend
10. Take time for self care

Sometimes your path brings you a present! That is exactly how I felt in meeting . Not only is she my periodontist and treated my teeth/gums beautifully, but she is also an incredible entrepreneur & mentor. We could talk for hours about entrepreneurship, marketing, dreaming, goal setting, raising your vibration, and faith.

It is powerful to see a woman who thrives on seeing other women succeed while empowering and encouraging all around her! She and her associates have this new beautiful dental office overseeing one of Vitoria's most iconic bridges, and I can't way to see their journey unfold even more!

I left the dental office motivated and empowered, and it was an honor to capture some of the staff.

I met LaJune King over 6 years ago at a BLINK Conference. She was spunky, cute, and had pink hair. Fast forward to 2021— She had not only evolved her photography business into a successful branding & family portrait business, but she also launched an epic natural light studio in Frisco, Texas.
