Me before becoming Christian: Oh, they’re wearing a cross. That just means they believe in God.
Me after becoming Christian: I wear my cross to remind myself that though I am not perfect, I am worthy, I am saved, God is ALWAYS with me, and that faith and hope must always endure.

I usually don’t say much on here, and for good reason, because when I’ve actually got something important to say, it usually kicks the hornet’s nest and gets people riled up, but I’m not going to hold back when it comes to praising God. I used to be one of those people that would think religion was a scam, or some kind of conspiracy, or the biggest trick pulled over the eyes man… but I’ve come to learn things in life and won’t be embarrassed to admit that I was wrong. For one, what harm does religion do? It inspires people to do good things and helps others out. It has rules to go by to try and be a decent human being. And two, why has it endured for so long? People don’t just let religion continue because it’s some kind of conspiracy. It continues because no one wants to feel the wrath of God if they were to try and stop it. Just look at Genesis chapter 12 in Egypt where the Pharaoh didn’t want to upset Abram’s God any more so he sent him and Sarai away with all of their riches. Or Daniel chapter 3 where Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego are thrown into a fiery furnace by King Nebuchadnezzar after refusing to bow down to his golden image, and were saved by a 4th figure in the flames, so Nebuchadnezzar lets them out and praises their God. If anyone tried to take God away from us, or take us away from God, they would come to know him very well. So why did I change my POV and start believing? Because - why not? It’s not harming anyone if I believe. At the worst, if it’s not real, I’m putting faith into something that is just wasting my time. But at least it’s keeping me on track and inspiring me to do good. At best, I’m saving myself and my family to endure in everlasting salvation. And why else? Because if he wasn’t real, why would we have been allowed to believe for so long? I believe. I have faith and trust that he is guiding me to where I need to be. If you haven’t come to know him, I hope you eventually get right with God, too. Happy Sunday morning everyone ❤️
