Storms continue to form in Kankakee County, and are moving off to the northeast bringing lightning and heavy downpours. The storms currently west of Will County are now starting to push east, and will also pose a flooding risk. There may be some small hail as well associated with the stronger storms. There is no severe weather at this time.

Storms with heavy rain continues to form over Kankakee County which may cause some localized flooding

A strong storm will impact portions of eastern Kankakee County. Hazards are 40 mph winds and half inch hail. This storm is moving off to the east into northwest Indiana

Strong to severe storms are are forming west of Ottawa. I will monitor these storms as they move into our area. They are slow moving and produce very heavy rain and hail. I will be filming a dance recital tonight so I will try to keep up a much as possible.

Storms are developing and will affect our area this evening. Expect heavy downpours, lighting, gusty winds and possible small hail.
