Welp, I moved to Los Angeles. Thinking back to the days when this page was just “Abandoned Nashville,” I couldn’t have dreamed that these dusty forgotten corridors would lead me across the world and deep into a career I hold so dear. It’s surreal, truly.
Every cracked facade and silent hall we’ve explored together has told a story, and you’ve been with me through every step. And it’s your support that has turned my passion into a shared journey of discovery and preservation.
This move to Los Angeles? It’s for us. It’s to dive deeper, to push further, and to bring on a team of editors and video nerds who share my passion for uncovering the unseen. I’m setting up a base here not just to expand, but to connect us with even more stories that need to be told. 🎥🌍

I’ve finally built my dream bike and I've taken it everywhere lately- from Nashville, across the desert, all the way to the Pacific, and filming all sorts of abandoned spots across the U.S.

I’m loving this ride more than any bike I’ve had before. It's the ultimate adventure batmobile. Can’t wait to see where we’ll go next… Mexico maybe?

New video of this abandoned mansion on the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee!

Sadly, this place is awaiting its final chapter before demolition to make way for a subdivision that’s quickly approaching the estate.

This narrative is becoming increasingly familiar, not just in Nashville, but globally- the destruction of quality homes, all for the sake of so-called “progress.”
In a society where the emphasis on quantity vastly overshadows the appreciation for quality, we find ourselves losing more than mere structures. In our rush to build the future, we’re creating a world where the soul of our cities is buried beneath shiny new concrete.

Yet, within the walls of this mansion, lies a deeper story begging to be told- a story of the man who built it. From his humble beginnings on a Canadian farm, to the heights of his success in Music City, USA, Edwin’s tale is one of ambition, love, and the harsh realities of Alzheimer’s disease.

Alright folks, check this out. I just rolled up on this crazy abandoned mansion deep in the woods. From the outside, it looks like it’s straight out of a horror movie, all run down and overtaken by nature. 🌲🏚️ But on the inside, it’s a whole different story - it’s like stepping into a freakin’ time machine. The colors are off the charts, everything’s surprisingly well-kept. 🤯🎨
And here’s where it gets wild - there’s this story about a girl who supposedly offed her brother in this very house back in ‘82. I mean, what?! Swipe through these photos and tell me this place isn’t both awesome and a little spooky. Just goes to show, you never know what’s hiding out there in the wild.

These bunkers, tunnels, old prisons, and asylums—this is where my heart first skipped a beat. This is where I fell in love with exploring. Owen and Ellie, nearing retirement in 2014, embarked on an ambitious project to build their dream mansion on a 30-acre farmland. With a heart-shaped pond and a guest house for their son, this home was a testament to their inseparable bond. Owen, a kind pathologist, and Ellie traveled the world together, their love growing stronger with time. Tragically, in 2016, Owen was diagnosed with terminal cancer and passed away the following year, leaving Ellie at a total loss. Unable to cope, she ceased payments in 2020, and the property was foreclosed. Gather 'round, folks, and feast your eyes on the grandeur of this abandoned mansion once the home of a highfalutin (I’ve always wanted to casually use that word) attorney and his family. It later fell into the hands of the ever-ambitious man who was at the time the YOUNGEST MEMBER OF THE FBI. I kid you not.
He would go onto building an empire from within these walls but alas, tragedy struck when his wife passed away, leaving him to fend for himself and make some drastic modifications to the mansion to suit his old age. So let's step inside and take a glimpse into the past - a moment frozen in time, where the essence of Ollie and those who came before him still lingers.

In a small village just an hour north of Paris, sits the home of WW1 veteran, Louis Teray. Abandoned since 1993 after Louis passed away, his small cottage home is now hidden by the woods that have now grown around it.
Louis served in the French army as an infantryman and was severely wounded during the Battle of Verdun in the summer of 1916 thus, losing both of his legs and was sent home as a war hero.
Sometime after, he married a single mother widowed by losing her husband to the war and he acknowledged her child as his own. Louis and his wife both feeling unlovable because of their horrible circumstances, found love in each other.. a love that would last for the rest of their lives. They would stay married until her death in 1992.

Comprised of three stories, not counting the full basement, this abandoned white marble 30,000 sq ft mansion has eleven bedrooms, thirteen bathrooms, a visitors quarter, indoor pool, outdoor sports complex, four-car garage, mahogany library and an elevator. Aside from its sheer magnitude, it embodies the elegance and elaborate design you would only expect from a $10,500,000 mansion.

A family only lived here for 6 months when the father and his son died in a single engine plane crash. After the freak accident, everything was left behind including luxury cars, lavish furniture, expensive designer clothes and so much more.

Marcel and his wife Petra both died inside this 1600’s mansion in 2013. Sadly, all of their children have been fighting each other in court, unable to reach an agreement on how to divide the estate.. This mansion buried in the woods has the most bizarre story of any place I’ve ever explored. In the early 1980’s, there was a 14 year old girl who stabbed her brother to death inside the home AND the story gets even wilder- she was practicing SATANIC RITUALS in her bedroom and subsequently, the murder was ruled as a homicide caused by the devil. This 1600’s Chateau has been sitting abandoned for two decades. I can’t describe how amazing it was to be here. The dim light shining through the window panes, the smell of leather and musty books, the sound of the grand piano that still plays, although out of tune… it was all like a dream.

As most of you know, Nashville, TN is my home and it’s where Abandoned Nashville originally started. Back in 2014, I was taking photos of abandoned buildings all over this city with my iPhone, never knowing this page would become what it is today, thanks to all of you.

But as the years have gone by, I’ve travelled far outside of the city (even to other countries) to find and document abandoned places. That being said, it’s time to retire my original name and go with something more fitting and expansive. Nashville will remain my home and not to worry, we still have yet to see the best abandoned places in this city!

To wrap this all up, I’m super excited to announce my new name of JeremyXplores and will continue taking you to the most amazing places all over the world (and yes, Nashville too)! Growth is good. Evolution is good. Life is good.
