Totality 🌑☀️

Yesterday, we drove down to Indiana to catch the total eclipse. It was my second time seeing totality, but it was just as breathtaking as it was in 2017.

What a beautiful world we live in.

Animals of the Everglades 🐊 🦩

Took a trip down to Florida this past weekend and spent a day exploring Everglades National Park. We were lucky enough to spot tons of wildlife while kayaking & hiking through the mangrove forests and freshwater marshes.

Spent the past few days camping & chasing fall colors in Wisconsin and Minnesota. 🏕️🍂

6 Days in the Enchantments ⛰️

Just got back from an incredible backpacking trip in Washington full of mountain goats, alpine lakes, and sweeping views. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to disconnect and be away from emails, work, and social media. Feel lucky to be able to go on adventures like these with people I love.

Moments from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I think all too often I get caught up in capturing the “perfect” moment. There’s so many photos and videos sitting on hard drives that I haven’t posted because something was off. Whether it be the lighting, the composition, or some minute detail, I feel there’s always a reason for me not to share my work.

It’s been a relief to take a break from all of that and just go on vacation with my family. There’s no pressure to chase perfection and it’s been amazing to use my camera as a hobbyist instead of a professional.

Here are some of my favorites from the past week in Edinburgh, Isle of Skye, and Portree.

Monroe Street 🏡

This part of Madison is located on the west side near the edge of UW’s campus and is known for its locally-owned shops and businesses (and a Trader Joe’s!!!). One big announcement is that I’m now selling limited prints at Orange Tree Imports, so go make sure to pop in and shop local!

Winter in Wisconsin is finally here! Who’s excited for snow?

🍁 FALLING FOR WISCONSIN 🍁 Welcome to another lil passion project about fall in Wisconsin. This one is a bit different. I got into filmmaking in the summer of 2016, creating silly videos of my friends and I during college summer break. They didn’t really have a purpose, but they provided little glimpses as to what was going on in my life at the time. Today, most of my work focuses on others whether it be for other businesses, products, or destinations. So for this video, I wanted to turn the lens back onto my life and the people in it as we enjoyed the last bit of warm weather in 2022.
