Well now they have a new location.

Join Tampa Bay Rescues on Friday, November 1st for the Grand Opening Fundraiser at 4703 Park Street North, St. Pete, FL.

UPDATE: It’s been quite an adventure for Tampa Bay Rescues founder Sonny Flynn. First tragedy struck with a fire destroying their original location, losing some animals at John’s Pass. Then the temporary move to the old Bank of America building on Gulf Boulevard in Madeira Beach. And now luckily for all of the rescue animals they found their new home in St. Pete. This was just weeks before the record storm surge of Hurricane Helene would have probably taken all of their lives.

For just a $10 donation you can enjoy beer, wine, some small bites and meet several of our rescues up close. At Tampa Bay Rescues we do it for the love the animals, but we can’t do it without you. We hope to see you at the Grand Opening Fundraiser, Friday night from 5:30-9:00 at 4703 Park St. N, Saint Petersburg, FL with plenty of free parking…unlike our original location in John’s Pass.

ALERT PINELLAS: A Mandatory Evacuation has been ordered for everyone in Evacuation Zone A and ALL mobile homes throughout Pinellas County, effective starting today (09/25) at 9:00 AM. Those evacuating should have their evacuation completed and be in a safe place by Thursday morning (09/26) at 8:00 AM before weather conditions become too dangerous.

Tropical Storm Helene is forecast to rapidly intensify into a Major Hurricane as it approaches Florida over the next 24 hours. A Storm Surge Warning, Hurricane Watch, and a Tropical Storm Warning are in effect for Pinellas County. Potentially life-threatening storm surge flooding is likely in Pinellas County starting early Thursday (09/26) and lasting through Friday (09/27). The current storm surge forecast calls for higher surge with a longer duration than Tampa Bay experienced during Hurricane Idalia last year.

Residents are urged to finalize emergency plans, confirm their evacuation zone, shelter locations, and find other evacuation resources by visiting disaster.pinellas.gov.
