Chani Marketing just accrued $300,000 since we started as a freelancer agency in 2020. Very proud of this accomplishment and working on leveling Chani Marketing to the next level by offering a new training program on how YOU can be your own freelancer.

I started Chani Marketing in 2017 after realizing I couldn't keep up with childcare expenses with my new baby. I needed a "side hustle" and started Chani Marketing as an LLC. I didn't have many clients but it did help. After a couple of years I moved to China and I was able to meet people all over the world and was able due to a lighter work load, gain more clients. I finally started paying off the miles of debt I had accumulated.

Bruno and I came back to the states for Christmas vacation and COVID hit China. I lost my job over there after 6 months and I was not able to keep up with American expenses of things. I hustled more in Chani Marketing and also taught an ESL class as well as worked part time in Walmart.

I had good prices so I had TONS of clients that were all trying to pivot their businesses turning covid. Once I landed a full time job I knew I had to scale back with my clients due to time and thus how I started Chani Marketing. My first freelancers? Lindsay Vega and Shanada Moss. They are the legacy freelancers who jumped in with me since the beginning.

I say all of this to say, YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE. I am celebrating these wins with my team. We have only gotten here because of their tenacity and dedication TO THEMSELVES to challenge themselves, take themselves to the next level and be their own boss. IT ISN"T EASY. Each one on our team will say that. Freelancing is not the faint of heart.

You all, I still hustle. I love start up businesses and challenging myself in these areas. How do I find time to do it?

That's the question I often get. The only thing I can tell you is that the early mornings, the evenings, the weekends and the holidays are FUL OF OPPORTUNITY. You just need to find the value and belief enough in yourself to make those active steps to get there. You can do it!
