Texas Tech’s Fiber and Biopolymer Research Institute (FBRI) houses some of the most advanced technologies available for cotton and fiber research. Many of the researchers there work directly with producers to better their crops and yields.
The unique facility aims to increase knowledge and understanding of cellulose and biopolymers and transform biomass into a new generation of bioproductsto add value to Texas grown natural fibers.
