It is located in Northeast Iowa and is known as a Driftless area due to its deeply carved river valleys. We felt the name Driftless Drones is perfect because it encompasses our geographic location as well as the drone’s ability for precise GPS positioning and “Driftless” flight control. With the drone’s capabilities we intend to revolutionize how business owners, farmers, and photographers operate

. Driftless Drones will help reduce cost, time, and create more business for owners. With our assistance farmers will no longer have to go out looking for lost cattle or send a plane overhead to see how well crops are growing. Photographers will be able to take professional pictures from a bird’s eye view. Furthermore businesses will have the opportunity to view future, current, or past projects. The owners and operators of Driftless Drones have a passion for what they do and want their business to succeed by helping their clients succeed. The company is owned by a father and son duo that has a shared passion for aviation. Todd Berry has been a licensed pilot for over 30 years. Todd holds an FAA Commercial Pilots Certificate as well as Certified Flight Instructor, Certified Instrument Instructor, and Multi-Engine Instructor. He has spent several years as a corporate pilot as well as a part 135 jet charter pilot. In the past Todd has worked for multiple companies as their “all around” man. In addition to being the company pilot he used his non-aviation experience and skills, to take on any projects that had been laid out before him. There was also time spent as project engineer committing him to long days and frequent trips to Japan and China. Eventually Todd took time away from the corporate life to open a business with his wife. Together they successfully opened a coffee shop that allowed them to share their passion with the general public as well as raise their children with a “hands-on” approach. Austin Berry is the youngest of the Berry family. Since birth he has been cultivated to love all things aviation. When Austin became an adult he began the process of achieving his private pilot’s license. He is a part of the Air National Guard and is an A & P mechanic. He has spent time with the military in Hawaii, Guam, Germany, and Qatar. He has a keen interest specifically in Drones. In his opinion they will change our way of living. We believe in Driftless Drones, and the endless possibilities it has for our success, and the endless possibilities for the success of others. We are at a new place with the advent of UAV’s and the opportunities that will come from them will be mind blowing. Being on the ground floor of the industry, staying on the cutting edge of technology, and serving our customers to the best of our ability, will ultimately be the building blocks of a legacy that will be Driftless Drones.
