I don’t think I ever officially met Jim Scott. Saw him in person a few times from afar. But what I do know about him is that I would call him as a teenager in the morning and ask him to help me promote the community garage sale that I and my merry band of teenage leaders group buddies were putting on to raise money for the teen group at the YMCA. Not only was he not annoyed or even seemed slightly annoyed, he was gracious, told me when he was going to talk about it and he did it every time. Because of that, I felt like we were friends and I was a loyal Jim Scott supporter.

Godspeed, Jim Scott. Thanks for everything - for me, for our town, for radio and most of all for celebrating the common good in every person and every community.

Hi. It's been a while.

A pandemic, kids at home, very sick relatives (luckily, everyone is fine now), job changes, remote learning, a major household move... It's been quite a year, to say the least. Sound familiar? But From Cincinnati is rearin' and ready to launch again...again.

Check out fashion designer David Meister on today's From Cincinnati. It's a great chat with a very interesting guy. He dresses a virtual who's who of Hollywood leading women. And, as it turns out, he grew up right across the street from the show's host. And David played with Joe's uncles when he was a kid.

Also, shout out to B. Shields for allowing us to use his tunes on today's show. Check him out, too...

On Monday's episode of From Cincinnati, something quite unexpected happened: The guest brought up host Joe Wessels' two uncles, "Ricky" (Rhonda Rand Wessels' husband) and Tony Wessels. Safe to say, that wasn't expected.

It might not be too surprising, because in the booking process for this show, Joe found out the guest grew up *directly across the street* from him where he grew up in Colerain Township on Dry Ridge Road. But they had never met.

Download Monday via your favorite podcast app (Apple Podcasts, Google Music, Spotify, Stitcher, iHeartRadio, etc.) or at FromCincinnati.com to find out who is this very connected Hollywood person, what they do now and their how they are From Cincinnati (which proves again, to be *the* biggest small town in the world...)
