Atlanta Film & Webfest International 2024 event was a blast!
In its first year of launch, director Jeanette Matte and her team did an amazing job. I’m thrilled to support them as one of the partners for the webfest in the East Coast and the second biggest film industry in the USA.
It was incredible to have VIPs such as legendary actor/director Bill Duke and actress Sean Young(Blade Runner) attend.
Additionally, it was heartening to see alumni from LA WEBFEST and a lot of new faces from Canada, Brazil, Peru, China, and Korea. It truly showcased international participation.
I, Young Man Kang, never expected to receive the Michael Ajakwe Achievement Award, which inspires me to work even harder and continue spreading the film and series community worldwide, following the legacy of my mentor, founder, and former director, Michael Ajakwe, of Lawebfest.
Looking forward, the 2025 Atlanta Film and Webfest International promises to be even more amazing next year and to continue growing. Until then, remember, we’re all creators: “Don’t wait. Create!’”
