Catherine Bach portrays Daisy Duke, a fictitious character from the American television series The Dukes of Hazzard. She is the cousin of the show's main characters, Bo and Luke, who reside with their Uncle Jesse on a farm outside of Hazzard County.

Some publicity materials for the program imply that Daisy's parents, along with Bo and Luke's, were murdered in a car accident; Daisy claims in the 1997 reunion film that her mother died when she was a baby, even though this is never stated in the series itself. How they all ended up living with Uncle Jesse was never revealed in the series.
