General information
Teres finished graduate studies at The Paris Fashion Institute. While in Paris, Teres studied with members of the fashion elite, including Lyssa Horn, V. P. of Europe and New York Barney's; Diane Pernet, Fashion Editor of Joyce Magazine Paris; Chris Christophe of Premiere Vision Paris; Germand Gamboa of New York; Jo-Ann White of D.F.S. and Betrand de Courcy, Director of International Public Relations, and the House of Hermes. Teres attended exclusive shows from Chanel to Yves St. Laurent. Quitting. Stopping. Failing. These terms have never been in Teres McClen's vocabulary. In 2005, Teres McClen pre-launched her menswear line, which includes made-to-measure, and wholesale. From a young age, Teres McClen possessed business savvy. At age 12, she launched her second venture-a line of baby quilts and custom bottle dolls. In 7th grade, she won an award for '''The Most Creative Person" in her homemaking class. At age 16, Teres obtained both a catering and a cosmetology license. She apprenticed as a platform stylist under Lottie Rose, one of the Top 20 Platform Stylists in the World. After studying under Lottie Rose, Teres landed a job with Clairol she pursued these goals, managing to complete high school a semester early. At 15, Teres opened her own beauty salon, which she operated throughout her college years. Servicing hair clients included First Ladies, model/actresses for TV commercials (Thias Walsh), leading stylist for stage and movie productions, and Founder/CEO of Operation Hope, John Bryant.
