I’ve never ski’d in my life but thought hey why not. I want to fill the rest of my life with what I’m calling “new life experiences.” We’re only on this earth for so long so WHY NOT try the things you’re curious about - do the things you’re a little scared of. Had so much fun shopping for ski clothes (oh and skiing ofc), though uhhh wow SO expensive and the sizing was soooooooo off - I was wearing anywhere between a small to a large! And in case you’re wondering NO I do not plan on going to go into ski apparel anytime soon - well, not until I can confidently get off a ski lift without falling backwards.

Does anyone know of an animal rescue focused 🐘 or environmentally focused ♻️ charity that needs extra support? I’m looking to align my business with an org but want to ensure the donation makes a real impact and that it actually means something to someone.

Doing 3 cities in 7 days was far too ambitious for our first Italian whirlwind of a trip but hey we did it and my feet are SORE!

Biggest accomplishments:

✔️finally walking the ancient streets of Pompeii and seeing the famous cast of the man who tried to get up in his last moments (so tragic)
✔️ riding a gondola in the actual Venice canals (not the one in LA or the one in Vegas haha)
✔️ 30,000 steps a day (honestly v proud)
✔️ seeing our friends tie the knot on the Amalfi coast (so romantic)

Biggest travel learnings:

✔️ flats can still be extremely painful (women need better options for cute, comfy, dressy shoes)
✔️ don’t travel without cash (oops)
✔️ don’t travel without a debit card esp when you forgot the cash (let’s just say stressing out about not being able to pay for things in euros was 100% the backbone of this trip)
✔️ always pack your personal bag with emergency un**es, contacts, toothbrushes, skincare etc bc when we missed our connecting flight back to the U.S. due to a delay, we were stranded for the night in a foreign city with NOTHING.

Amalfi, Venice and Rome were so impressive - rich with history and bursting with stunning architecture, but it was A LOT to take in in such a short amount of time.

I need a vacation after this vacation 😅

I’m going to be honest with you. My mental health isn’t so healthy right now.

A lot of things piled up yesterday and I broke. In the late afternoon, I became a hot-faced crying wreck after receiving a message from someone I’d been waiting to hear back from for weeks. They responded in a way that not only ignored their participation in the problem, they took no responsibility, and then they also went on to shift the blame onto me. My heart is racing right now just thinking about it.

I want to be clear that I’m never going to stop fighting against dupe culture. I’ll keep fighting until there’s policy change. However, at the same time I need to find a way to mentally and emotionally separate myself from the pain of getting my designs stolen, and right now I just don’t have the tools to be able to do that. Yet. But I’m working on it. I’ll need to figure it out soon because I won’t ever stop designing and innovating for you.

Also, thank you so much for your support on my last post. ❤️ Your words made me feel so less alone. And thank you to those of you who DM’d me trying to help me get in touch with the teams at TikTok and Amazon - you guys are heroes.

Anyway, that’s all for now.

Tell me: what is the ONE WORD that comes to mind when you think of ?

I want to know if my perception of my own brand is delulu or in line with reality! Please be honest!

Also…just did a fun photoshoot this weekend so that I could finally have pics to reflect my Fashion Designer Era. (My last headshots are all very fitnessy) I’m soooo obsessed with how dynamic these photos are!!!

Thanks for capturing the shot, for making my hurr and makeup look so good, and (and Apollo) for throwing all my sketches in the air so dramatically! Outfit styled by lil ole me.
