Motivational Monday! Each and every day, I am grateful for so many things. And I always try to consciously acknowledge it.
Here's a fun experiment. Take one day, and eliminate any negative thoughts or words. Normal things that might usually piss you off (like a crappy driver in front of you), just brush it off. Try a day without any negativity of any kind, and just see how it makes you feel. Our words and thoughts are very powerful. Do this, and you just might be amazed at the results.

Today's Motivational Monday quote is one of my favs and one that is so true. Sometimes we get so caught up in this, and that, and the other...that we don't take time to be thankful for all the good in our lives.
One time I was driving down Sunset Blvd, having a rotten day and pissed off at all the traffic...and here comes this little fella scootin' down the street in a wheelchair with no legs and no arms. That made me realize that there is always so much to be grateful for.
And why get all pissy and stressed out over stupid stuff? Because in 10 years, or 10 months, or 10 days, or maybe even 10 minutes you aren't gonna remember why you were pissed off in the first place. It's really not gonna matter in the whole grand scheme of things.
For the music, I figured what the hell -- I'll use one of my tracks this week. It's a Future Tropical House joint I did a few years ago.
