The Queen of the United Kingdom and other 14 Commonwealth reams Elizabeth II was announced dead by Buckingham Palace on Thursday. She died 96 years old, and her reign is the longest in Britain’s history.
Queen Elizabeth was born in Mayfair London. She was presumptively made queen after her father’s reign as a result of his brother’s abdication in 1936. She undertook her public duties during World War II. In 1947, she married a former prince of Greece and Denmark Prince Phillip Mountbatten who passed away in April 2021. They had four children: Charles Prince of Wales, Andrew, prince of Duke of York, Princess Anne, princess Royal and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.
