Peace Lily are prone to root rot for two reasons-folks like to put them in low light, which slows down the rate the plant processes water. The slower the plant processes water, the higher risk of root rot. The second reason is folks know this as a “thirsty” or, “dramatic” plant- so they tend to get watered too frequently.
