Wonderwell: Where Excellence Comes First
Wonderwell author testimonials about the quality of our editorial, design, and marketing services--as well as the impact that publishing with us has had on their careers. We couldn't be prouder, and we hope you'll join their ranks: https://wonderwell.press
Wonderwell has been setting the standard for excellence in hybrid publishing for nearly a decade, and our publisher and CEO Maggie Langrick was part of the Independent Book Publishers (IBPA) working group that wrote the official criteria for hybrid publishers back in 2017.
And hybrid publishing isn’t all that we do. Our tagline is “big ideas for a better world,” and we mean it. We are dedicated to work that can legitimately contribute to the public conversation and make a real impact on society, which means working with serious thought leaders who have the most promising book ideas, in whatever capacity they need us. If your values align with ours, we want to help make your book the best it can be—whether you join our hybrid publishing program, or choose to self-publish or pursue a traditional publishing deal.

The Big Leap: Book-Planning Program & VIP Retreat
This June, we’re hosting a very exclusive, immersive book-planning experience called The Big Leap, which includes a 4-night VIP retreat in Palm Springs. If you're serious about getting your book in gear, this program will be the perfect way to fast-track it with hands-on help from a team of experts.
We created this immersive program for serious nonfiction authors who want to move forward quickly with their book plan/proposal. It will be a very small group with a 2:1 participant to facilitator ratio.
Participants will work one-on-one with three senior publishing professionals:
📙 A senior editor will help pull your book out of your head and get it shaped into a marketable concept and full outline.
📙 Wonderwell's bestseller-launching marketing director will work with you on your author brand, platform-growth, and book launch strategy.
📙 Publisher Maggie Langrick will explain the three publishing paths in depth to help you choose the one that's right for you.
By the end of June, you'll have a rock-solid, professionally developed book plan/proposal, top-level marketing strategy, and publishing path all mapped out and ready for action, whether you want to pitch traditional publishers, self-publish, or work with a hybrid publisher.
Because this is an intimate, in-person experience, we're being very intentional about who to bring in—the energy of the group is so important!
