This is for those that may believe the 17 year old opossum posts. It is not possible for a opossum to live that long. This is Johnny's last year Christmas pic and this year's. Unfortunately, opossums age very fast. Johnny is around 2 years old. My vet said Johnny is just naturally aging. She warned me over the summer that Johnny may not be here another year.

This little baby made her way to me tonight. She has had a very rough go. She had hundreds of fleas on her which resulted in her being anemic. She was so hungry and dehydrated.

I haven’t had a baby this late in the season in years, which means I had very little supplies. I added items to our Amazon rehab supply list- the link is in our bio if you’d like to help donate warm blankets and some food to her.
