Matthew Wang has scored the upcoming documentary 'How The West Was One', directed by Razieme Iborra and produced by Alec Shangold. The film follows three young women in a contemporary reimagining of the American West on their journey to redefine what it means to be a cowgirl.

'My Mercury', the A24 feature documentary scored by Rebekka Karijord, is now streaming on Netflix! From Oscar-winning “My Octopus Teacher” documentarian Pippa Ehrlich and director Joelle Chesselet, the film follows Joelle’s brother and conservationist Yves who relocates to Mercury Island with the difficult task of establishing a home for the critically endangered Atlantic seabirds of the area. The saga explores the “struggle to reverse a nature distorted by human greed.”

A proud member of the First Nations community from Wendake, Québec, Geneviève is an esteemed violinist, film composer, and producer, whose interdisciplinary work spans the film, music, and fashion industry. She uses her artistic platform to shed light on crucial matters surrounding mental health, the plight of women enduring s*xual violence, and the pressing challenges faced by Indigenous communities.

Geneviève works from her studio Wendat Records, and her recent projects include scoring National Geographic's 'Life Below Zero: First Alaskans' and 'Life Below Zero'.

Stanley A. Smith has scored the National Geographic documentary 'The Real Red Tails', a one-hour special narrated by Sheryl Lee Ralph from 'Abbott Elementary'. The film recounts the discovery and unraveling of the archaeological mystery of Tuskegee pilot Frank Moody's P-39 plane, which mysteriously malfunctioned and plunged into Lake Huron, taking Moody's life with it.

Composer Cindy O’Connor loves rom-coms and horror movies, and her recent projects include The Professional Bridesmaid and The Blessing Bracelet (Hallmark), Red River Road (Amazon Prime), and Forgiving the Franklins, a darkly comedic stage musical about s*x, shame, and religion. She received an Emmy nomination for the ABC series Once Upon a Time, and her music can be heard in all seven seasons of the show on Disney+. As a performer she has sung on over a dozen film and TV soundtracks, and she spent four years touring as a keyboard player and singer with rock superstar Pat Benatar.

Caleb Chan and Brian Chan have scored the new Nickelodeon series 'Fairly OddParents: A New Wish'! This is the latest reboot of the beloved franchise, featuring a newly updated hybrid animation style and a new protagonist, Hazel Wells, a 10-year-old girl played by Ashleigh Crystal Hairston. Voice actors Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee will be reprising their roles as Cosmo and Wanda, who come out of from the brink of retirement to help young Hazel.

FOX has confirmed the procedural drama 'Alert: Missing Persons Unit', scored by Caleb Chan and Brian Chan, will be renewed for a third season. Created by John Eisendrath and Jamie Foxx, the series is set in the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit and stars Scott Caan and Dania Ramirez as they search for the missing or abducted and reunite them with their loved ones.

This year marks the WomenSongwriters HallofFame's 4th Annual Award Show Gala, a fundraiser in support of scholarships for women in music.
