• This is a worthwhile read, not a cheery title but very enlightening: Dark Winter, How the Sun is causing a 30 year cold spell. By John L. Casey. In 2008 I finally couldn’t ignore the ridiculous warnings about shifts in our oceans and atmosphere. I just didn’t observe what was being claimed. Finally, I thought about the possibilities and I had an Ah-ha moment when my physics lessons came roaring back. The popular theory was impossible. I looked for independent experts who could explain what I observed. Prominent among them, John L. Casey, ex NASA, had undertaken to publish his study of solar cycles. Pears Corbyn in the UK agreed looking at Solar and Lunar cycles to predict major events weeks ahead of traditional meteorology. These people explained and vindicated what I believed. So, I have been publishing my understanding for over a decade and have only learned more to reinforce that since. Browse SpaceWeatherWoman.com to find out what the Sun is doing. Sunspots are few to none. The Sun has shown the beginning of a new cycle by the polarity of spots but it has not really begun a climb out of it’s hibernation when it should be at an 11 year sunspot cycle maximum. Meanwhile seismic activity has increased as predicted by Casey. I watch Quakes.GlobalIncidentMap.com which carries a list of the last 100 quakes. When I first started watching that, the list of 100 was over 20 hours long, now it’s less than about 8 hours and occasionally only 4 or 5 house so the rate of quakes of all sizes has almost tripled. Also, because of low Solar activity, the Jet streams are taking more wild gyrations which brings unusual weather. But, if you were to observe and analyze the energy thrown off in hurricanes over the past few years, as I have, the news of damage not withstanding, the energy has gone down each year in a unit I call Category Days. So, I out predicted the NWS and even beat AccuWeather. This indicates reduced rate of cooling following reduced Solar output. This cold spell that we are in, identified as the Eddy minimum, will not be as severe ad the Dalton Minimum of the early 1800’s which was less severe than the Maunder Minimum, of the early 1600’s known as “The Little Ice Age” which ended Viking occupation of Greenland. They all died. Google these things, I don’t make-up this stuff. I say that it will not be as severe because we are currently out of phase with the Melankovitch cycles so that instead of the Eddy Solar Minimum being severe, it will be more protracted taking decades to climb out of before the chicken littles can start crying again.
• So, I can highly recommend Dark Winter. I have done my own study, research and practice. John Casey was right and he’s probably the best source for you to understand what is really happening so that you won’t be a sucker for the flawed popular theory. Notice that I have avoided using the keywords to set social media off against me so I can get this word out to you.

This site is for the greater Lorton Community and it's standards are different and higher than those of Facebook. It is not about politics outside of this community and is without any regard or allegiance to Facebook, so I expect for Facebook to stay out. Fact check THAT!
