“Lady of Justice”

A Story

In my work and in my personal life, I choose to deliberately reveal the emotional underpinnings of what is important to me.

Just to be clear, revelation of emotion is not always considered a strength. In fact, unless the emotion is anger or courage, revelation of emotion is often seen as a weakness. It is not.

When I was twenty, I worked as a mental health social worker doing court intervention and diversion for people with mental illness charged with misdemeanor crimes. I would develop a treatment plan and ask the court at initial appearance to “hold open” the charge for a year, giving the charged person time to pay restitution and comply with a treatment program. If successful, charges would be dropped. I did that job for a year and when I quit to finish college and go to law school, a judge told me, “It was often your passionate belief in the program and in human nature that tipped the scales in favor of the proposal you made on behalf of your client.” My passionate belief, even as a youth, communicated with a sound argument, tipped the scales of justice in favor of compassion and kindness.

I use my power and presence to speak the truth as I know it and to persist in speaking the truth if it is ignored.

“The Co-sign of One is equal to the Co-sign of None.”

Imagine reality as a book. Degrees are like reading each page one at a time, noticing small, familiar details in each chapter. Radians, on the other hand, are like viewing the book as a whole, seeing the arc of the story from beginning to end. In one approach, you grasp details and find consistency page by page; in the other, you see the larger pattern, where some things might appear different or unexpected. Just like “the co-sign of one is equal to the co-sign of none,” our perspective shapes what we understand, whether we focus on the parts or the whole.

"Yeshua"

Did he intend for his teachings to become religion?
His message was simple: love each other and lean on God.
We are capable of getting closer to his vibration through the acceptance that we all embody the same divine love, coding and light that created us. This is why he taught to love your enemies.
Are we not already saved ?
It is up to us to not forget the importance of kindness and compassion. Not just for those whose opinions and perspectives differ, we need to remember to be kind and compassionate to ourselves.

"Re-collection"
One Possible Story
The information in Archive is decoded not only through an objective "lens" of our experience, but also through our physical, bodily responses.
When we experience a traumatic event, our body and mind synthesize it and store it in our flesh and bone with # attached that signal similar circumstances to warn us of possible repetition.
The human body is like a vinyl record player with stacks of records of our experiences on the spindel, each waiting to drop and play when the corresponding hashtag is activated.
When a is activated, that record drops and the song begins to play.
All of Archive vibrates with the frequencies of that trauma song. The information in Archive can only be decoded when I, as witness, identify the trauma song and lift the arm of the needle from the record Clear access to Archive requires presence in the pause between notes of any song.

“Sacred Heart”

A Story
Virtuous self expression is speech and behavior that represents the very best of who and how I am in the world.
I am responsible not just for what I think, but also for the actions I take in furtherance.
When deciding what is moral and what is virtuous, I don't just look to societal or religious standards, I look to my heart, l listen to my allies and I consider the effect my choice has not just on me, but on all concerned.

“Sacred Breath”

A Story
Re-source is a hexagram that reminds us that our innate compass for navigating life is our own breath.
Learning to pay attention to my breath was my very first exercise of intentional self-awareness. In 1993, before my daughter Mary Clare was born, I began therapy. In the first appointment, my therapist asked,
"Are you aware you're holding your breath when I talk?"
What? No. No, I was not aware. Then, I was.
I learned to do a daily, early morning walking meditation that included counting breaths to nine and beginning again. I walked briskly for an hour, observing my breath.
If I lost count, I learned to forgive myself and simply begin again at one.
Forgiveness. My first awareness of feeling being attached to breath.
The effect of observing my breath source from In Between and return there is navigation of my life with the smart compass of sentintelligence: our in-born intelligence of feeling and sensation.

“The First Gate”

Are you doing the next right thing and how are you deciding what is "right"?

A Story

It isn't enough to go about our business responding to the moment by doing whatever we want.
There is an apparent divide in humanity between those who think only for their own self-interest and those who consider the interests of everyone (including themselves) in their decision making.
If this pandemic has taught us anything, it is the truth of the interconnection of all human beings on the planet.
This plague pays no heed to national borders.
And still, some humans stand firm in their self-centeredness, even to their own detriment and without taking responsibility for the way their behavior impacts everyone.
Do the next right thing. Decide what is "right" by generously considering what is best for everyone, including yourself. Take a closer look at the impact of your choices.
As you do unto others, you do unto yourself.

“Tree of Change”

A willingness to allow our deeply held beliefs to be challenged is the catalyst to profound and lasting change in this world, in ourselves.
In my most regal presence, I am imposing, solid and stationary. I am the Mountain that is also the Sequoia tree. I believe I know.
When the Wind of change blows, challenging what I believe and what I think I know, I may remain steadfast and unwilling to be moved. Even the tallest, most magnificent of trees will eventually die and be eroded by the Winds of change.
Everything we are in our most glorious, majestic presence will one day be reduced to tiny particles. As Sequoia lays down and dies, fungi, bacteria and insects feast and form networks of communication and support for new growth.
Life, death and rebirth create intricate and resilient networks to support life and change.
When my most deeply held beliefs are challenged,! either resist or l am curious. Curiosity allows mistaken beliefs to die and in their decomposition, they inform new things being born.
