Jeremiah Donaldson is a science fiction/horror writer, editor, game designer, free thinker, corporate slave, and overly blunt as***le that grew up in rural Kentucky and lived in Florida for 13 years. He started work on a farm at a young age and ran around construction jobs in several states with his dad over the course of many summers and mowed yards. He started writing at an early age, and produced his first rudimentary story by age 10 and his first work of length at 14. Some combination of odd jobs and writing continued until he got out of high school and ended up working as a CNA. Writing was mostly forgotten as he maintained up to three jobs at a time for many years and his daughter was born in 2003. A dream that became the prologue of 'Plague' renewed his interest in writing in the middle of 2004 after not writing anything of length for nine years. At some point, sometimes at the same time, he has held jobs as a dishwasher, CNA, data processor, cabinet installer, office clerk, kitchen manager, delivery driver, factory mule, and call center as***le. He produces what he can while maintaining a single parent household, saves, and takes a break from time to time to just work on writing. He has been to school three times since 1995. He went to nursing school in 1998, but dropped out after six months because full-time school, full-time work, and full-time partying didn't leave time for somewhat important things like sleep and food. He took a semester of English in 2000 at Central Florida Community College just because, and it served no purpose. He finished an online computer repair class in 2005 in time for the market to be oversaturated.
