Last Friday, Aug. 17, would have been my mother's birthday -- the day before her mother's--my grandmother's! In their honor, I'd like to commend to you the attached video in which each plays a prominent role! HAPPY New Year

This year's message was a true collaboration. Whereas I've been responsible for most of previous years' contents, it has become impossible for me to do it alone. You see, not only has my speech been affected by my PSP, but now I have lost control over my eyelids. They close involuntarily and remain closed much of the time. So now I dictate what I want to say to Dick who interprets what I've said and types it. Also he makes sure he understands, and if not, he helps immeasurably in clarifying.

Other than that, we are fine, just old!

My cousin who lived in the FL Keys for 15 years recently sent me this with the following comments: >
The highway is two lane and there are 58 bridges connecting the islands. We lived on Duck Key, mile marker 61. Population of The Keys is less than 100,000 with most living in Key West.
