Alongside my passion for the outdoors, I have devoted more than a decade to pursuing my love for history. My academic journey began at Montana State University, continued at King’s College, London, and culminated with a Ph.D. I specialize in Medieval and Early Modern European/British History, focusing on religion, politics, and culture during the Elizabethan and Stuart periods. As a scholar, I emp
hasize the value of expanding our historical knowledge through research and allowing my students to come alongside in this endeavor. I have taught Medieval, Early Modern, Western Civilization, and British history courses. Borrowing from the inspiration of CS Lewis, "that you are never too old to set a new goal or to dream a new dream," I decided to expand and transfer my specialized skills as a professional historian beyond writing history and teaching classes to work in sales and marketing and as a senior editor/technical writer. After several years of struggling to find my 'dream career,' the Lord quelled my impatience and frustration by leading me to my current role as an Area Director/Publisher with the N2 company, a compassionate organization dedicated to a greater mission of honoring God, strengthening families, and creating financial wealth for everyone involved. I am honored to join their team as the franchise owner and publisher of Greet Bozeman and continue my passion and goal of creating and building lasting community relationships in the Bozeman area.
