A few days ago, I shared about my all-time favorite beer, Unibroue's 17 Grande Reserve aged in Rum and Cognac barrels. The base 17 Grande Reserve clinched the title of the World's Best Dark Beer during the 2010 World Beer Awards in London, England. Ever since its triumph, beer aficionados worldwide have been on a quest to savor the unique flavors of the Unibroue Grande Reserve. Despite its acclaim, most of Unibroue's exceptional craft brews are now predominantly available in the local Quebec market, which is a regrettable restriction.
