We are excited to share that A Whale of A Time has been named a Notable Poetry Book of the Year by NCTE's Children's Poetry Awards committee!

As the country's oldest professional organization for English language teachers from preschool to graduate school, NCTE (the National Council of Teachers of English) promotes literacy and the development of literacy skills in students across the country. Each year, the Awards Committee recognizes a short list of poetry books that make the medium accessible, compelling, and enriching for young readers.

Congratulations to Lou Peacock, Matt Hunt, and everyone who worked on this rare (and hilarious) gem of a poetry anthology! 🐋 🎉

We are excited to share that Transported recently received this year's the Best STEM Book Award from the National Science Teaching Association.
