2024 Flourish Pastors Retreat Recap Video
The Mid-America Union Conference Pastor and Family Retreat hosted by the MAUC ministerial team July 28-31, 2024, in Overland Park, Kansas. Themed Flourish, the event was held at the Doubletree Hotel and featured highly-sought speakers, including Ty Gibson, Elizabeth Talbot, Fredrick Russell, Michael Campbell and Joe Kidder. This event is usually hosted once every five years.
The event’s theme song – with lyrics written by Elder Craig Carr focusing on the retreat's theme Flourish – featured an original musical score composed by Sullivan Dutra, former worship pastor at College View Adventist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska.

New AdventHealth Complex Located on the corner of Calvert and South 52nd, the 40,000-square-foot addition gives Union Adventist University a second gymnasium, a turf field, an indoor track and more room for cardio and weight training. The project also renovated the existing pool and Nursing Program last year, replacing the roof of the original building and increasing accessibility for wheelchair users. The project was made possible by gifts from 517 community partners and alumni to date. The total raised will be announced at the ribbon cutting. The final numbers are not in but hundreds of Pathfinders were baptized. Most pathfinders registered before Camporee and then came to a baptismal check in to get a baptismal wristband and a special Voice of Prophecy gift bag with a Bible, special pin, certificate, and other items. If they were registered they still were able to register onsite. Continue to pray for these Pathfinders as they continue on their journey.
