I now have a degree in journalism & broadcasting!

“What do you want to be when you grow up?”

My answer constantly changed when I was younger, but there was always a common theme. I wanted to positively impact the world in whatever way possible. I accidentally stumbled into journalism a little over two years ago, and I can’t imagine myself doing anything else.

I have had the opportunity to reach millions around the world, connect with people, and, most importantly, inspire people within different generations.

I have gained a new family at the UNL College of Journalism and Mass Communications. Everyone here has always been supportive and kind to me.

This journey hasn’t been easy, and it has taken years to accomplish, but I have made it. I wish my Dad were physically here for this moment, but I know he is in spirit. Education was always important to him. I’m so honored to be the first college graduate in the family.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single person who has supported me on this journey and believed in me to see it through. Especially in the moments of uncertainty when I needed it most.

Let’s take the world by storm together.

Nebraska strong isn’t as strong as it could be. Or as strong as it should be.

We need someone fighting for climate action, tuition-free community college, legal immigration reform, social justice and equity, housing and food as human rights, and livable wages.
Nothing about wanting to live in peace is radical.

We need a leader fighting for our future.

Growing up, I was sheltered. It is one thing to know how others live in foreign countries and another to experience/witness it. The last time I was in South Sudan, was the first time I saw how life is outside of The United States.

I visited my Aunt’s house and saw the everyday tools they use. It made me realize how easy my life has been in comparison. We always want the last and greatest thing with little appreciation of what we already have. We always want more, and it is never enough.

On the left in this photo, is the metal charcoal heated iron they’ve been using for years. On the right is the electric one I brought from the US as a Christmas gift.

This Christmas, I am thinking of all those who’ve lost loved ones this year, those who may have lost their jobs & homes, and those who don’t have anyone.

Christmas and holidays are more than just gifts. They’re about being thankful for the people and things you’ve already been blessed with in life. This is the first Christmas I’ve ever spent out of the Midwest. I really miss my friends and family in Nebraska. But I’m thankful I get to spend Christmas with my last living grandparent for the first time ever.

The Kualdom

The Kualdom was started by Jazari Kual in the summer of 2019. Jazari Kual started his love for film in 2015 when he became an avid Snapchatter, making mini vlogs on his story. That transcended to becoming a YouTuber, which led to the formation of Kualdom Creations.

Kualdom Creations is a broadcasting and media production company headquartered in Lincoln, NE formed in November 2019. As a media production company we focus more on videography and photography. However we offer other services in marketing and promotion.

Throughout the summer of 2020 we have been live streaming many of the protests, rallies, and gatherings for our 2021 docuseries. Please note that we do not plan, organize, or participate in the protests that have been taking place in Lincoln or Omaha, NE. We attend strictly to report and live stream the events raw and unedited.
