FYI, great chart of subscription prices for entertainment. There are lots of variables and tiers of service for each provider, but this is pretty interesting as a benchmark.

By way of comparison, the monthly base cost for cable (without internet) typically ranges from about $40 to $145 for new customers. This is an approximate as cost varies by the provider, your location, number of channels, taxes and a variety of junk fees.
