Spent the last few days on the road to Los Angeles and back to pick up this 1960 Pontiac Bonneville Hearse. Been looking for this one for a bit now. Been in a guys garage since 1997! Thought it would be fun to tow the casket car on a trailer behind a hearse but I didn’t want a Cadillac, I wanted to be different! LOTS of work to do now!!

I took home several awards from the Ardmore “Beat Childhood Cancer” Show, but this one about killed me. I knew the show benefited Oklahoma kids fighting cancer, but I did not know some of the kids this show benefited would be there. The whole show I talked to a lot of kids and their families about the DeadSled and they took pictures by it and sitting in it. I just thought they were spectators per usual. At the awards announcement, they had the kids up there giving out the awards and that’s when I realized who they were. All of the kids had turned in their favorite car to be tallied up for the Kid’s Choice (which I didn’t even know there was). The DeadSled was the Kid’s Choice and all of the kids presented me with this gas pump trophy that has all of their fingerprints on it in paint. I’ll tell you now, I’m glad I wear sunglasses! My favorite award I’ve ever gotten and I’m sure it will never be topped!

Ardmore OK car show… nobody wants to park next to me and I got pulled over in the DeadSled by PD on Main St literally a single left turn after unloading 😂 He said, I have no idea what the hell you’re even driving 😂😂

DeadSled took Temple Tattoo’s Pick for Most Outrageous and Cruisin 12th St Pick! LeadSled took Fire Chief’s pick! Soooo many nice rides there, I really didn’t think I would win anything! Great Show! Okie Nationals in Yukon, OK.
